Introducing Our New Line of Sustainable Materials

At Jim Davis Designs, we believe in beauty that cares for our planet and your wallet. That's why today we're proud to feature our line of sustainable materials:

Kirkby Designs Aloe

This line, carried by Romo, is a groundbreaking washable, wide width OEKO-tex certified drapery textile made from 60% Aloe Vera and 40% organic cotton. OEKO-tex certification requires that each material be tested against a list of up to 350 toxic chemicals. Aloe Vera is considered a sustainable material as Aloe Vera plants used in this textile grow with no chemicals or fertilizers and do not require any watering. Aloe is one of the four lines from Kirkby that are made from sustainable materials.

Kravet

A personal favorite brand of mine, Kravet truly goes above and beyond to help create more sustainability all around. Currently more than 1.1 million recycled plastic bottles have been used in new Kravet products. Kravet also partners with mills that share the same commitment to sustainability. Kravit has also made commitments to plant a tree for each order placed on a piece of furniture. They ship all packages in boxes that are 97% recyclable materials, or bags that are 55% recycled plastic.

We offer all fabrics which are endorsed with OEKO-tex. They are our most cost effective eco friendly line and have great options to choose from.

Portola Paints

From our clients for sustainable goals, Portola is an eco-friendly paint manufactured in Los Angeles area. They blend their paint in small batches to the exact standards engineered for environmental safety in the modern world. The paint formulations are low-odor, and contain no VO, CS or harmful gases.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of our eco friendly and sustainable options!
